Supposedly will be complete in July. Wouldn’t it be great if it was already completed, and they could open it up to fans. The video of it shows a club lounge type area, and room for a lot of standing room fans, kind of like how Cowboy’s Stadium is in the end zones. That would give Baum Walker an even stronger home field advantage, having fans peering down on the opponent’s right fielder. Just more noise to add to the stadium
It would be great for it to be open so folks could walk through and view the National Championship trophy we will hav won in June
It’s not ready for June.
Sure would have been advantageous to have pushed the contractors to get it done before these regionals and super regionals this year. What a boon to have that ready for the national television audience, and for recruiting.
No pushing during Covid. That job site got shut down many times in last year.
It would be nice to show it off to the whole world, but, I guarantee the ones that it really matters RECRUITS know about it and they already have the video animated rendering and they will be touring it in person as soon as it is ready. The fact that it was coming has had a lot to do with the recent recruiting success and this July, it will take recruiting to a whole new level. The fact that Kopps developed into an almost un-hittable pitcher working with Hobbs is huge now that Hobbs has a MLB caliber and beyond state of the art facility. We are becoming legendary in terms of player development and this new facility is screaming it to the world. I like it.
Recruiting important but development just as big.
