Kinda agree with much of his assessment, although I haven’t followed much of their season. A few four-letter words sprinkled throughout.

Great guy, definitely has his head screwed on straight.
Not having a B10 Tournament absolutely screwed the Huskers, I think they would have done well and could have earned a Regional. They gave our Hogs everything they could take but like he said, you just had that feeling that Arkansas was about to break it open… and thankfully that’s exactly what happened.

You have to respect that man’s knowledge and the classy, except maybe the profanity, way he delivered it. That was a good team we played and they had to get sky high to give us a run for our money. The theatrics were a little over the top (teams that know they are short of talent to match us have to resort to theatrics to try to play better than they are to beat us which is a compliment by the way) but they were one of the best teams we played this year. Huge talent in Schellenbach, but they could not use him like we used Kopps because they needed him at short and hitting every day, since he was their best fielder and hitter. I predict he gets paid to just be a shut down reliever in the pros since that is his best talent.
I suspect it will be a cold welcome this year
The Calling of the Hogs was especially irritating to them - just like it is to all our SEC peers
Nebraska May very well be less than cordial when Arkansas arrives this year but what they don’t know is that is every Saturday in the SEC no matter where you go - in varying degrees of intensity and the better ArKANSAS is the worse it is in the SEC

Making an issue about the Hog Call seems silly to me. Kind of like whining about Rocky Top being played after every Vol touchdown, I hate it, but if we can’t stop them I expect to hear it a lot!

The two most irritating crap in the SEC is Miss State’s cowbells and Bama’s Rama Jama cheer. I’ve had Bama people apologize about that cheer. Never had a State fan apologize about the cowbells…

This dude was funny to listen to and love his perspective on that game. I agree with him that their coach has them headed in the right direction. If he’s this animated about Husker baseball, I bet he gets amped up at football!
I had a friend who grew up in England, Arkansas. He went to school at Ole Miss. He used to joke that he grew up in England & was educated at Oxford.

Nebraska definitely got hosed on the regional. Little DVH has this team on the move. Hard to win once you call the Kopps though.

I don’t disagree. The #19 team in the country gets sent to #1? The Bugeaters would have cruised through several regionals – Fort Worth and Columbia, and probably Starkville too.
