So this is dumb and pointless. Obviously good players opted out on most teams. When you play someone matters A LOT. Spring practice would’ve made a big difference for more teams than us. Etc…

But just for fun, I think we go 7-5 or 8-4. And I would’ve loved to see that Notre Dame game. We would’ve rolled in having proven nothing yet, against an overconfident team that wasn’t as good early in the season.

We would’ve had all our Dline for LSU. On the other hand, Kiffin might’ve had our defense figured by Nov. 14.

It’s nothing compared with what else we’ve lost in 2020, but man, a 7-5 or 8-4 season would’ve been fun.

It’s worth pointing out that Arkansas was going to play Nevada to open the season. It was going to be Kent State, but about a year ago Kent State renegotiated that contract because it was in line to play three SEC teams in the same year. The Nevada game was added as a replacement.

Arkansas is scheduled to play Kent State in 2024.

Nevada is 6-2 this season and started the year 5-0. I think the Razorbacks would have beaten that team, though.

I think Arkansas would have won at least six games against the original schedule this year and been bowl eligible.
