Muss Postgame

Anyone hear his radio interview? I mean damn. I think he’s getting escorted to the locker room right now still trying to go after the refs. Wish I could hear that whole interview again. Wonder if there’s a way to see the press conference he’s about to do for tv? Or if they’ll even let him in front of the cameras right now

Hoping someone has a link to see the press conference?

In other words he called the refs people who have sex with their moms.

One of the worst officiating jobs I’ve seen in years.

IMO it was bad. COST us the game, don’t ya think?

Yea. Another comment said it was 8 points it cost us. Probably more than that counting the time brazile had to be benched among many many other things tonight

I rarely, if ever blame officiating for defeat. But this game was it. Totally atrocious hose job. Officiating was bad on both sides, but the ratio was 3-1 against us.

Officiating was bad, no doubt. But it’s also a chance to learn another lesson. That’s going to happen at times. When you have refs that decide they want to take over the game like these did in the early part of the 2nd half, don’t give them the ammunition to do so. Walsh, Brazile, Mitchell all had aggressive fouls going toward the offensive player and trying to block shots when they could have just gone straight up and made them shoot over them and make a tough shot. Instead, we gave them the chance to call the foul that they wanted to, and I don’t think any of those shots would have gone in anyway had we just played them straight up

They were over the top bad

We’re gonna see zebras like that again. In Baton Rouge, in Tuscaloosa, at Auburn, in Waco. Somewhere. Or maybe Vandy or Misery. You have to learn how to deal with them and win anyway. That may be the best part about tonight.

Not if u believe muss in his post game “we will never have to face adversity that bad again”

Although to me that is just asking for it. We are mincing words here, but worst I’ve ever seen or completely beyond belief would’ve been my choice. Somehow I’ve got a feeling this won’t be the last time we see that. Our guys play through contact and don’t get the calls like creighton falling on the ground all the time

Only lesson learned was that the refs were bad.

Best cheer of the night, brought the roof down: “REFS, YOU SUCK!!”

I was yelling at my Wife “what are they saying?” I thought it was “that”…

yep terrible officiating

we’ll probably be seeing this same crew tomorrow nite

I thought of you during that pivotal 5-7 minutes when we got absolutely jobbed.

The game deciders were out in force. That was an all-timer 5-7 minute stretch of ridiculousness. It not only hurt us then, but kept us from being able to challenge shots late.

For example, Brazille could have contested Nemhard’s big dunk, but he had 4 fouls and could t risk the challenge.

That’s why the defensive stop % in Scottie article are skewed. Our hands were tied.

I will say this Muss is getting incredible effort from the team, most of the team anyway. They left it all out there these last 2 games. Most of them.

The calls were terrible, but as alway, the no calls rule the day. I remember late in the game their big guy threw one of our guys to the floor and then caught a pass and dunked it. No call. There were so many impacting no call it was hard to keep up with them. Travels, camping out in the lane, rebound fouls, all no calls. On our end just several and/ones, no call, just butchered at the rim and nothing, no whistle.
