Moses

Very savvy to announce for the draft on The Jump. Had the spotlight all to himself. Can’t wait to get his rookie card. Great young man! Good luck, Moses! Go Hogs!

I knew as soon as Umude announced he was transferring to us that Moses was for sure gone. I was holding out faint hopes until then.

I wish he was coming back. But, I can’t blame the kid. Best wishes Moses. We will all be following you and supporting you for years to come.

Remember, you can still come back IF you hire an NCAA-approved agent.

Doubt that applies to Moses. I’m kinda glad that he led with the fact that he was hiring an agent. Removes all doubt and lets Muss bring in another stud.

You’re probably right, but the bridge may not be permanently burned. Just smoldering…

Good Luck Moses, proud you are from Arkansas, you will always be a Razorback.

I don’t think he burned any bridges. If you watched the interview, he was very complimentary of Muss and said he was very proud to have represented his home state. He is just a super impressive young man. So mature and knows exactly what he wants to do.

The bridge I’m talking about is closing off the option of returning to school completely. There may be zero chance he comes back but just hiring an agent doesn’t close the door.

Great job Moses. You were a big part in restoring my enthusiasm for Razorback basketball. Thank you. Get to work and be a star. You have that ability.

I would just say Moses handled the situation much more cleanly than Isaiah did last year, and I don’t think he made his announcement on The Jump by accident either. I wouldn’t be surprised if Muss used his NBA connections to secure the prime airtime that Moses got today. I’m sure that video we will be queued up when Muss shows potential recruits the kind of spotlight that can be had at Arkansas. Very smart.

Don’t forget Danyelle’s ESPN connections either.

Thank you Moses for being.a great Razorback. The door will always be open for you anywhere anytime in the state of Arkansas.
Good luck at your next stop.

Being a Littke Rock boy, Moses has always looked up to Joe Johnson. He pretty much matched what Joe did individually as a freshman and bettered Joe in team accomplishment in the NCAAs. Joe did with the SEC tournament.

Now let’s root Moses on to equal or better Joe’s NBA success.

This decision was a good business decision. He has the whole state of Arkansas rooting for him. When his playing days are done, he will find many more doors open to him that would not open for some who made a different decision. Congratulations and good luck in your NBA career.

And Joe only played two thirds of his freshman season (23 of 34 games) because of Prop 48.

I would say that Moses has proven himself to be a much shrewder businessman than Archie Business Decision or The Brand. I have never been a fan of the one and done, but I would gladly take a guy of Moses’ caliber and character every year.

Yes Moses was a great asset to the Razorbacks. I imagine that he will be a strong and vocal supporter of Muss and his basketball teams. He is a classy young man.
