Bonnin is on a travel team this summer that is playing against teams from the California Collegiate League. That’s the league that has the highest number of Razorbacks this summer.
Bonnin’s team isn’t part of the league; just plays exhibitions against teams that are part of the CCL. It allows him to compete against some good college players - Dominic Fletcher, for instance - a couple of months before he makes it to campus.
“It’s good for us because we’re not playing against high school guys,” Bonnin said. “It’s stacked out here, so it’s good to get the experience of playing these guys.”
