Missouri is razor thin

Missouri defense is nearly as bad as LSU’s. They give up nearly 300 passing yards a game.

The Tigers Defensive Line tend to not be disciplined to staying in their running lanes and DE flew upfield and failed to keep their containment against South Carolina last Saturday.

Their QB Connor Bazelak is okay but will throw up a bunch of 50/50 balls. He averages 8.5 rushing attempts per game. (Although not very effective)

Missouri does not fair well against mobile Qb’s at all. Their Defensive Coordinator Ryan Walter’s was out for last Saturday’s game for contact tracing. (14 day’s) which suggest David Gibbs (DB Coach) will run the defense this Saturday.

The Tigers were without 11 players vs South Carolina after multiple positive tests and quarantines due to contact tracing. Players unavailable were: wideout Javian Hester, quarterback Shawn Robinson, defensive back Adam Sparks, defensive lineman Markell Utsey, offensive lineman Dylan Spencer, outside linebacker Sci Martin Jr., defensive back Ishmael Burdine, defensive lineman Keion Willis, outside linebacker Johnny Walker, wideout D’ionte Smith and defensive back Stacy Brown.

56 scholarship players made the trip, but defensive lineman Kobie Whiteside, offensive lineman Larry Borom and offensive lineman Xavier Delgado didn’t play after the team said they would only be used in an emergency while they recover from injury. Drinkwitz said 52 scholarship players were available after the game, one under the SEC’s threshold

And then there’s the Barry Odom factor. Don’t discount that. I like our chances if the game is played.
