What happened to all the great depth of Miss St pitching staff? That is all the announcers have talked about the last few weeks.
They’re going to host. Winning 20 in the SEC took care of that. But they could lose a top 8 seed as a result.
They went 20-10 in the hardest conference in America and 40-15 overall. 2 games doesn’t make a season. They should be the #8 national seed IMO.

You’re putting a lot of stock into a tournament that is meaningless for most teams there, including Mississippi State. They had nothing to play for this week and they acted like it.
But there aren’t many teams that have had a better season than Mississippi State.
