Missed 1st half opportunities..............

…would have made it closer but there is no doubt A&M would have come back and probably won another one against us. In the second half, they were the stronger team at every position on the field. Our offense was mostly effective against them except in the redzone. Our defense played better pass defense than last year but failed to win the battle in the trenches which let them finally break down our secondary. We had chances to make it a more competitive game. They gave us turnovers and we made some big plays but, in the end, for the fifth year in a row, they were the better team.

So, we split with TCU and A&M. Most of us would have taken that before the season as a good scenario. This team will get stronger, as always, will get better, and will finish the season strong, again. We don’t have the horses, again, to match A&M’s in the first conference game. We got some tough games coming up and have to regroup quickly. Go Hogs.
