Minnesota cuts three men's sports

Cutting indoor track and leaving outdoor track makes very little sense. No additional scholarships or coaches. It just reduces travel costs a bit in the winter.

Meanwhile another gymnastics program bites the dust. At this rate we won’t have a men’s Olympic gymnastics team for 2028 because there will be no athletes in the pipeline.

I’m worried mid major programs will see huge loses due to them not being able to play the “big money rent a win games”, Which in turns could lead to sports being cut and folks losing their jobs.

The ramifications are deep from this pandemic.
