I would say this is a definite game changer for football and almost a game killer for basketball since there are only 13 scholarships in BB.

Some may like it, but the current system is encouraging kids to quit and start over.

Kid gets his degree, as far as I’m concerned, he’s earned his free agency. Otherwise the student-athlete part is the complete sham we all know it to be anyway. Even if you have your diploma, you have to stay where they say and continue to provide your services for our illegally low compensation.
