I read that the Arkansas pole vault champion at the meet of champions signed with Georgia. I also read that the sprinter that set the Texas record in the 100 meters signed withe Georgia.
Does anyone know why they are so successful this year in track recruiting
Georgia has been recruiting very well under head coach Peter Kyprianou. So, this recent class is not a surprise.
Remember Georgia men won 2018 Outdoor title and were 3rd Indoors. Georgia women won the Indoor title and lost Outdoor title by one point.
That program has been flying high for a while.
Signing Matthew Bollong “White Lightening” was big for them. They beat out Texas and usual sprint kings LSU, USC and A&M.
