Memphis to hire their OL coach as HC per ESPN

Maybe we have started a new thing in hiring OL coaches as Head Coaches.

I hope the “new thing” trend that Arkansas may have started will be the way we structure contracts and buyouts based on performance. I’d love to see that spread through the college landscape, but as long as there are big name coaches with multiple options and leverage, I’m not sure that will happen… but I can hope.

Yes. Good point.

It could have a chance if these OL coaches prove to be successful. Sam could still be making a boat load of money in 4 years if he’s very successful. He just has to perform at a high level to get there.

To add to your point. As long as there are agents like Sexton negotiating contracts.
