Whatever. He may have wanted the job earlier in his career but not this time.
Maybe it’s not that Leach beat a good LSU team, but an overrated one.
This will all play out over the next 4-5 years between Kiffin, Leach and Pittman. Who won the hiring battle and who made the right choices will be revealed. I certainly don’t know, but I do know the Kiffin and Leach offenses looked really good. The Hogs looked like a decent defensive team and we played hard. That is about all I really expected or hoped to see.
