OM has cut the TT lead from 10-0 to 10-5 in the bottom of the 8th. If TTU is out of pitchers, this could turn around for the rebnecks in their last at-bat.

TTU got a run back, now 11-5.
Normally a 6 run lead going into the final at-bat is pretty much a lock, but the way this one is now shaping up, no lead is safe. TTU might need 3-4 more runs yet.
Now 12-5, bases loaded, 0 outs. Could get worse from here.

I don’t know who Ole Miss has left for the deciding game. The nightcap may end up with a score like a slow pitch softball game.
They should definitely be in better shape than TT.
Ole Miss used five pitchers this afternoon. TTU’s starter went 7.2 so their pen wasn’t overtaxed. No idea who they’d throw out there as a starter though. Ole Miss’ starter got yanked even faster than Campbell did last night – 9 pitches. They didn’t have Reindl to pick up the slack though.
Just thinking they have only played three, should have a decent 4th starter, the mid week guy maybe. Don’t really know their staff. TT you would think is outa starters. Be watching tonite, we’ll see.
