think will be sent to Fayetteville? I’ve seen Oklahoma but they lost 2 in their tournament and of course Mo State but they lost to last place team in their tournament and then you mentioned both UCA and Oral Roberts. I would like to see at least 1 team we haven’t played recently.
If you go by that logic that a team from the region will be sent as the No. 2 seed, then I think Oklahoma and Missouri State are logical candidates. Of course that doesn’t always happen. Arkansas has been at Arizona State and Virginia as a No. 2 seed.
It has been my observation that one team is going to be sent in from a long way off as a No. 3 or 4 seed. Think Washington State here in 2010 or Bryant at Kansas State in 2013, or St. John’s in Stillwater two years ago.
So to answer your question, there probably will be a team or two from the region and one that comes out of left field.
Well, we haven’t played UCA recently (like ever) and I don’t think we’re going to play them next week either. The Bears are behind 7-2 in the eighth inning of the Southland championship game.
I think we get either OU or MSU as the 2 seed then someone gets sent in from somewhere weird as a 3 or 4 seed.
Matt had mentioned AR State in that mix of possibilities to come here also, depending on some factors as well I think.
ASU got knocked out in their tournament as well. So there will be no in state matchup.
