Matt -- Future tournament/classic appearances?

It’s nice to see the Hogs in the first College Baseball Showdown at Globe Life Park. I had hoped to attend before covid and the more recent weather issues.

What future tournaments do you know of that Arkansas is scheduled for?

I think I saw a year or two ago that we are scheduled again for the Frisco event (maybe next year?)

I’m sure we’ll go back to Houston for the Shriner’s Classic, though I’m not sure if any definite years have been announced. Hopefully we’ll get back to Arlington again soon. It seems like the perfect event – beautiful ballpark where games can be played indoors in the cold early season, very close to Arkansas, lots of Hog fans in the Dallas area.

Are you aware of any other events we are slated for in the next few years?

Arkansas was going to play in Frisco again this year, but backed out when the opportunity arose to play in Arlington.

The management company that runs the Frisco event also started a similar event in Round Rock last year, and Arkansas is scheduled to play there in 2022.

There is nothing else set in stone, but I think it’s safe to assume Arkansas is going to play in the Shriners College Classic every four or five years in Houston, and that the Razorbacks will be invited back to Arlington frequently.

I suspect the Hogs will be back in Frisco in 2023.
