Making Free-throws, win games

AR’s offensive performance was less than stellar. Turn overs(do not have the numbers), missed free throws (13/21, 62% ), shot poorly from the floor (40%, 9/24 in 2nd-half 37%), missed layups at the basket, allowed them to drive, score or draw fouls, feed the post and scored etc. etc. – so, what did they do to win? AR Did not get discouraged and panic, even down 12 in second half. Credit coach A; midway through the second half, he went with Match-up Zone defense. Our defense played it almost perfectly. They (TAM) couldn’t feed the big guy, penetrate or shoot. That helped us to crawl back in the game. Moses’s three-shot was a big one that cut it to three; Later a put back to put us over. Macon, after missing two free throws off the side, got his binoculars in focus and started hitting. That last missed free-throw could have proven costly, but a little luck is prerequisite for a weak offensive game to turn to a beautiful win. This win put us in track. Now in seventh place behind: MS St, GA, AL, SC, FL, & KY.
