Got to love this kid. Can hit the three, get to the rim and is absolutely clutch at the free throw line at the end of the game…This season, with Hannahs, Barford, Macon and Moses is the first time in years that we have had four players that may light you up at any time. My one complaint about Macon is that the ball tends to stick in his hands at times, ie he dribbles too much with out going anywhere. I say that and then when I watch him I see him dribble around and I’m thinking he is holding the ball too long with out going anywhere and the next thing I know he is finishing at the rim. Shows what I know…
Macon has been outstanding behind the arc and at getting to the line, where he shoots a fantastic percentage. The weakness in his game right now is in the midrange. He has the lowest 2-pt jumper% on the team. Part of that is that he has been inconsistent in finishing in traffic around the basket. He needs to tighten his handle and maybe hit the weight room over the summer.
