NOTE: Teams shown in BOLD and ITALICS are those that the Hogs have played.

SEC 1-2-4-5-6.

And Texass is 25-3 since the Arlington event.

Current RPI

Certainly can’t say the Hogs have not played a tough schedule

It’s a month until they announce the regional sites. Feel pretty safe in thinking we won’t have to leave BWS until Omaha. And Omaha will still stand for Ole Miss At Home Again.

I would say this week should be an automatic sweep, but we managed to give the Baggies their only league win so don’t assume anything. However, the battle of Tennessee and the battle of Mississippi are this weekend, so hopefully we can pull farther ahead of at least two of those (or all four).

Vanderbilt is in bold, but we don’t actually play them this year unless we do so in Hoover or Omaha.

Pretty amazing how many top teams we have played or will play.

Yes, but they are not in Italics. I highlighted all SEC teams. I updated the note.

Have to give Fairfield some props. I mean the MAAC is not a good league, but to be 14-0 in D-I baseball is impressive against any competition.

I’d like the Miss & TN teams to split with each other. Don’t really care which way although I suppose I’d rather MSU win its series against the rebnecks.

If we manage to sweep, we will have come through the first half of the SEC season with a 12-3 record. On pace for a 24-6 finish. That would be incredible. Anything above 20 wins is a resounding success. In fact, 17-20 wins is a really good season in the SEC. If we do get through at 12-3 or even 11-4, we are looking good for 20-22 wins. Play TN in Knox. Get Fla & UGA,at home. Avoid Vandy. LSU isn’t its vintage self & a team we could win the series from even tho we play in Red Stick. SC is harder to predict, but playing at their place I’d probably be happy with 1 win.

As of today, Warren Nolan predicts us to finish the SEC 21-9. Be hard to knock that result.

I’m not sure the Poultry are that good. They’re not as good as Moo U or the Rebnecks. I think we can take two.

Actually Warren Nolan projects 20-10 in SEC. They now project the Poultry to sweep us.

Sweep A&M, take 2 at Poultry, 2 at LSU (but wouldn’t rule out a sweep), 2 vs Georgia, 2 at EOE, 2 vs Florida. That would be 21-9

Nolan projects sweeping the Aggies, sweep by the Chickens, lose two at SAO, sweep Georgia, lose 2 at EOE, sweep the Wallets.

Did we have some rainouts? I’m only counting 54 regular season games.

I would rather EOE take two and Moo U take two. But I don’t want either one to sweep.

Is that 9-1 against the top 15?

We lost to La Tech, so 10-2 (La Tech, Ole Miss, Moo U, Texas Tech, Texass, TCU), although La Tech is #16 in some polls. But hey, that’s still impressive.

I left out the La Tech series.

Those Warren Nolan projections seem to change by the hour. When I posted that, they had us at 21-9, but I’ve been watching that for a couple of weeks & it’s all over the board–other than it’s had us trending upward.

Now it’s back to 21-9. I don’t think anyone has played a game in the last three hours but…
