Four-star JUCO linebacker Lakia Henry officially decommitted from Tennessee on Saturday afternoon. Henry had been committed to Tennessee since May. He was one of three Tennessee commits who didn’t sign during the early signing period.
This had been brewing for a while with Florida State and Arkansas coming on strong for Henry. You get the feeling that the staff had an idea that this was coming, considering their new interest in in-state linebacker Chris Russell.
It’s that old math requirement that Arkansas and Tennasee has that makes FS the lean… he would be big at a need position.
I don’t think it is just an Arkansas and Tennessee requirement. I believe the math requirement is an SEC requirement.
That might be the deal although I have heard nothing official.
Even if it is, since he is not a early enrollee, he could take those this semester.
I really doubt that Arkansas would continue chasing him if there was no hope for him to have the requirements - if he does indeed need them.
