Kopps made his AA debut tonight (try again!)

Pitched the 9th inning with his team trailing, 0-4. Hit a batter, but struck out two and didn’t allow a hit.

In his combined appearances so far this summer, he has posted an ERA of .66, a WHIP of .73 and has 22 K’s in 13.2 innings pitched.

He needs a spot on AZ’s spring training roster in 2022. They need to take a long hard look at how he fares against MLB batters.

I believe the Padres might take exception to this, lol.

SD is in playoff contention.

Kopps might get some action in significant games when they go to 40 man rosters.

No 40-man roster in MLB this year. They can have 28 active players in September, 29 if they’re playing a doubleheader. The minor league season doesn’t end until Sunday, whereas in the past it ended around Labor Day.

oooops. You mean it’s not the AZ Padres? :flushed:

KK not slowing down regardless of the league…

Dude is amazing.

Maybe to put even more hesitancy on the hitters he just go ahead and keep hitting one every so often!
