His last year at UA wasn’t played due to COVID.
As I recall, he started that season RED HOT before it was all called off.
There is no telling what kind of numbers he would have put up.
It was thought by many that he would get a shot at the show very quickly, but missing so much time due to myocarditis slowed his progression.

After getting taken with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2020 MLB Draft, Kjerstad missed all of ‘21 and the early months of ‘22 due to myocarditis (inflammation of the heart muscle). So this is his first Spring Training with the Orioles.
That was against my Braves I can tell Joe Simpson’s voice… not surprised at all about Kjerstad he can flat out hit.
Great to hear about Kjerstad. After all he has battled through.
