Took a huge jump in Kenpom from last night. 39 to 31. Since it is all statistics based, those averages coming up just a bit made a huge difference.
Also of note, we’re up to 37th in NET, up from 51st yesterday. Amazing what a road win can do, even over the bottom feeder of the SEC.
Swine I know you like the detail. It’s interesting that they proclaim NET doesn’t use scoring margin, but they do use offensive and defensive efficiency. So they actually do pick up a big win like yesterday for us, as the more you score (and stop the opponent), the better your efficiency #s get on both ends.
I think that’s another reason we were so low in the pre-season. Not only was our schedule soft, but we weren’t even blowing those teams out.
