He was having a really hard time staying on the field against Georgia, and still had 4 solo and 8 assisted tackles. He had 11 tackles, including a tackle for loss, against Kentucky. So that’s a big loss.
Steele’s had a week to figure out how to compensate for Britt’s injury one way or another, and to generally improve the run defense. Hopefully Briles can figure out a way to exploit whatever adjustment Steele makes to shore up the run defense, as well as do some things to force mental errors from the back up MLB.
Also they have two starting receivers who are questionable.
