Just-before-season bowl projections

Mark Schlabach of ESPN took time from promoting his book shredding Baylor University to do projections. He has us in the TaxSlayer (Gator) against Nebraska.

The SEC has done its best to rotate teams through the bowls since the format changed a few years ago. If Arkansas finishes around 7-5 or 8-4, I wonder if it will be the Razorbacks’ turn to go to Nashville. I think fans would enjoy that trip.

I’ve been told the SEC doesn’t want a team playing in any one bowl game more than once every three seasons. That would knock out the Liberty and Belk bowls.
