Just a reminder of the amazing talent of AJ Green

This guy is a freak show! His speed is insane…I’ve always thought he had the most talent of all our backs. Can’t wait to see some of this next year

He runs away from everyone, thanks for the video. WPS

Shifts directions without losing much if any speed. Gets up to full speed in about 3 strides to

He’s just not all about speed either he is very very strong, very seldom gets brought down by the first tackler

Yep noticed that and knows where to bounce off to. Seems to have Alex Collins type vision but so much faster.

This will be his first spring football, so hopefully, the extra weight room and practice will get him extra reps. Having Johnson and Sanders in the running back room makes it imperative that the coaches find a way to use him in a variety of ways. Too talented to sit on the bench or let him get away with a transfer.

He will have to do his part as well I know earlyon he had a couple of fumbles and at the end of the season I know he dropped a couple of swing passes, he’s just got to get it all together and once he gets on the field I think his talent will burst on to the scene, we saw a glimpse of it with the run with Texas and the swing pass touchdown against Texas A&m but he is a touchdown waiting to happen in the open field

This team is going to be loaded with explosive talent on offense.

Youdaman I agree. I’ve been saying for awhile now that I think he will make a huge jump when he gets spring practice, and then a proper fall camp. last year he was not an early enrollee, then he missed most of camp with a concussion. He never scrimmaged. Pittman bemoaned that more than once.

Don’t forget pass pro & picking blitzes. That’s usually the hardest part.

Oh no doubt about it… IMO that is stuff that you make sure he can do if you have to work all day and night with him on it. I have never believed that should be used as an excuse for a player of his explosiveness to be on the bench

AJ Green reminds me of that number 10 Hill for KC Chiefs . Color AJ Green gone if your standing beside him in open field…TD!

I really do believe AJ just flat out got behind not being able to ever scrimmage…and just flat missing most of fall camp. Once the season starts, as we all know, if you aren’t with the 1’s or 2’s its hard to get enough reps to catch anyone that is with the 1’s or 2’s…and we had 3 RB’s ahead of him…all very good.
With Trelon gone, and with a spring and fall, AJ will get plenty of reps. And plenty of opportunities to prove his mettle…and just get better. Of AJ, I remember Pittman say “if he will consistently do THAT, he will get plenty more opportunities.” “That” was a play AJ put his head down and flat carried the pile.

I honestly think we will have a 3-headed monster at RB next year. AJ will get his chances.

Yeah it’s a good problem to have with three very talented kids to hand the ball off to but I am really hoping AJ can get his whole game worked out because that speed is just incredible… he gets in the open field you won’t have to worry about anybody catching him

Can’t wait to see that talent fully developed and utilized here!

You can’t even catch him if the defense has an angle on him. You have to lead him like a clay pigeon, and even then by the time you get there he’s covered a lot of ground and he will still run by you! Kid is fast and agile! Can break tackles too!

Agree, Green may well prove to be the icing on the cake. He is extremely fast and not easy to grasp. Lightening with Power.

His acceleration and how he gets to point A to point B is crazy!
