Gooden, 6-4, 320 of Independence C.C. said Arkansas being a just a few hours away will help him get back to Arkansas often.
He said the highlight of the trip was getting to know Coach Bielema and learn what he’s about. He also enjoyed spending time with DC Paul Rhoads and DL coach John Scott Jr. and seeing their plans for him if he chooses to be a Hog.
He also spent a lot of time with McTelvin Agim, whom he got to know during high school and the recruiting process. They have a very good relaltionship.
He said the trip helped Arkansas’ chances. Based off of what I’m hearing, I believe that’s very true.
