James was selected as an all star reserve. Unfortunately, Sanchez is having a monster power hitting season for the Yankees. In most years, James would have had a shot as the starting catcher with the year he’s having. He should see time in the game as he’s the only back-up catcher selected (so far, pending late selections due to injuries, etc).

Well deserved as he’s having a great season for the White Sox.

Sanchez was going to get the nod due to the 23 bombs (or did that go up today at that launching pad in London?) but James certainly deserves selection.

That, plus he has the “NY” logo on his uniform. It was never a fair race. Just is what it is.

Just glad McCann deservedly was added to the team.
