Who thought Jack Kenley would be leading the team in home runs? He has really improved as a hitter.
I am glad for Kenley. This is fun. It just shows that hard work and perseverance pays off.
While I’m suprised I’m happy for the blue collar guy that has worked his tail off. He’s a team players and does whatever DVH ask him too do. Most players in his position would have transferred and wouldn’t be here right now.
He is always solid with the glove and seeing him hit with power and to contact has been fun to watch.
I would like to see him get 10 homers this year.
He showed signs last year that he could possibly be better hitter than he has been. I’m surprised by the power I just hope he can keep it up. I would be very pleased if he hit 285 what about seven or eight home runs and continue to play that great defense.
I wrote about Kenley’s home runs here, with some thoughts from Kenley, Dave Van Horn and Nate Thompson: http://www.wholehogsports.com/news/2019 … tom-order/
