Wow that guy’s athleticism maybe the best I’ve ever seen. He took off from about 8 ft out last night and slammed on a guy. just unbelievable athleticism.Then he catches that long pass and he’s falling out of bounds, he fires it up from behind the backboard and hits all net. He does something every night pretty much that is just off the freaking charts.

Happened to see Morant put up 41 to beat da lakers after Christmas (6/7 from 3, plus 10 rebounds,
2 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks) etc). Embarrassed (almost) to say I had not heard of him before the game. Now that my son has discovered basketball and the nba and sneakers, I’m learning a lot. And Morant is way up there on the list of most amazing athletes I have seen. Lebron had 38/13 plus 7 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks,
But in that game, somehow Morant was better.
Yeah he is an incredible player… popovich after the game last night said forget about all the highlight plays that he makes… when you look at his game he is an incredible playmaker and teammate he just called him a fascinating talent…

And remember he basically fell through the recruiting cracks. Murray State found him on a back court at an AAU tournament when nobody else was looking at him. He got a few more sniffs but stuck with MSU because they offered him first.

Yes his story is absolutely amazing. That is very true how he was discovered. He has worked hard on his game and seems to have got even better than he was in college. There’s talks of him being the MVP. Probably will go to Embid but this kid is phenomenal.
