They are shooting 36% from the field, 21% from the three and 63% on FTs. I have watched them in a couple of games and they look like a mid-major team that plays good defense but can’t score.
This could be the easiest SEC home game this year. Or maybe time for Joe and Jones to cool off a bit, win by 10 and get refueled for Baton Rouge.
We almost lost to Northern Kentucky. Let’s get real, TAMU is an SEC team, and we don’t start a player over 6’6". We need to be intensely serious this first game.
On the other hand, Nolan’s NET had them at #191 yesterday.
Don’t forget that the team’s best player didn’t play vs. Northern Kentucky. That game probably wouldn’t have been tight with him in the lineup. And the 6-6 and smaller lineup just beat an Indiana team starting three players at 6-7 and above. Indiana is a much better team than Texas A&M, and the Razorbacks didn’t have the benefit of a home court advantage last game. Arkansas should be favored tomorrow.
Only if, all games were decided on paper… Last I checked aTm was a SEC team with D1 talent I just hope our players are not looking to take these guys lite (and i know they are not) as many posters on this board are. Also I believe A&M have a decent coach.
Flagg can get hot! Don’t think it would be cake walk. They have a big man down low but our home court with a packed Bud Walton should give the hugs the edge. This is a must win in terms of the definition of a bad loss! Our hogs need to win games like this one!
Defense will be the key.
For some reason this game scares me. It reeks of Ali-Norton one. Don’t pay any attention to the tale of the tape. If they are a conference opponent, they can knock you down if you don’t bring your best. Gotta bring the focus and intensity and take the Aggies seriously. This is the A$M team from College Station, not Kingsville or Corpus Christi.
