I was just looking at the NCAA stats for team ERA (we were 27th at 3.84; they haven’t updated for the SEC final yet, but the UA stat page says we’re down to 3.80, which would have been 24th).
Nebraska is fractionally lower at 3.77. Northeastern is at 3.12, NJIT is 4.66.
But what I found interesting was the teams we’ve played with a top-50 ERA, which is anything at 4.15 or below, ranging from #2 Texas (2.95) to #49 TCU (4.15). Our record against those teams? 14-3. Which is a virtually identical winning percentage to our games against everyone else. It’s like throw your studs against us, we don’t care, we’ll still beat you (like Rocker).
