In the bottom of the 1st and again in the top of 2nd the director of the SEC network changed cameras during ground balls with runners crossing the plate. I have never seen the game covered on TV like this and I have watch well over 2000 games on TV in my life. The director would show the fielder fielding the ground balls and when he released it, he would switch to a view of the runner crossing home plate. You never see the 1st basemen catch the ball. The runner crossing home in the bottom of 1st was of no consequence as there were 3 outs… This was very disconcerting as you are wondering if the play was completed. I wonder if director has ever worked any baseball games.
