Imagine if Gafford hadn't returned, program would be at bottom of SEC..............

…so it took a miracle for us to be 1-4 in the SEC. We looked good early but teams quickly adjusted to shut down Gafford since we don’t have strong offensive players at the other positions. We have recruited OK but you can look at team after team with better guards, better forwards, and better true freshmen than us. Mason is good at times, but certainly not great. Our true freshmen are proving to be very inconsistent. Our point guard is no threat at the three line. We are last in free throw shooting in the SEC. Chaney has potential but since he, with a little help from Gabe, is the only backup to Gafford, it seems we can’t let him develop into a full time player. Too bad because he and Gafford together make a powerful tandem.

So, this, hopefully, is the bottoming out of the Anderson era and the upswing in recruit quality in Arkansas will allow him to recruit his way out of this hole. If the future top Arkansas recruits go to the one-&-done schools instead, he may not be around much longer. JMVVVHO.

i haven’t seen any sec standings, but aren’t we near the bottom now? with Gafford? Vandy, Missouri, Georgia, and Arkansas. Can’t offhand think of any teams with worse records

forgot a and m. bet its kennedy’s last year.

Arkansas is trying to get Daniel the ball down low but his nonexistent mid range game has made him fairly easy to guard in the half court…This would not be an issue if someone else in his position group could step out and hit the 15 foot shot and three…

Because of these things opposing coaches smile when they game plan against us defensively

It would take a miracle out of Mike to get this team anywhere close to .500. Just don’t have the firepower or strength to be consistently competitive. After watching Alabama dismantle Ole Miss it’s depressing to realize how bad this team really is.

Go check out the conference standings. The hogs are pretty close to rock bottom right now. At 1-4 and a game tonight if they win it’s up ward bound with a loss they could possible be tied for last on Saturday or be there all by themselves.

Ans if Darious Hall hadn’t left. And Jimmy Whitt and Nick Babb and on and on.

Really does not good to play the what if game unless you want it to go both ways.
