Rematch of the last World Cup final (and like that 2019 game, we’re winning 2-0). It occurred to me that we’ll know Arkansas soccer has arrived when we put a player on the US national team. Or given that we’re recruiting Canada, the Canadian national team. Could Anna Podojil get there? Maybe. Or maybe a defender like Haley VanFossen.
It is quite strange, but that exact thought occurred to me while I was watching the game. What a beauty of a goal by Rose Lavelle!
