and in fact doesn’t get cancelled (I fully expect it will be cancelled)…then theoretically couldn’t it “invite” any team available, i.e. the teams that would have been in the NCAA? IOW, we could still have the big dance, just in the NIT - btw, like it used to be a long time ago.

If the NCAAT is cancelled, then the NIT will as well. NCAA owns and runs the NIT.

The only basketball that’s going to be played will happen in your drive way. That’s my prediction.

Well Duke and KS just voluntarily withdrew from the NCAAT.
