I Think this is a GOOD Take on the Petrino hire.....Agree / Disagree?

He’s wrong; I don’t care one way or the other about the hire … at all … I just don’t.

Probably right. No one doubts BP ability to coach football, esp offense. The question is how will he and Jimbo work together. BP will have more overall talent and anything else he needs than ever before. Will be very interesting to watch.

One of my Aggie friends asked me and told him they will be able to score. He replied “on the filed or with the coeds?” I asked do you care if you win more than TX? They will buy him all the volleyball players he wants as long as he wins.

They want wins. Rest does not matter given $ linked to Jimbos contract

I don’t agree with the commentator. He assumes BP’s issues are limited to off the field conduct and don’t impact his coaching ability. My understanding is BP has continually struggled with relationships with players, fellow coaches and staff members. So unless he can somehow find a way to coach in a vacuum and not deal with day to day matters involving others, he will be just fine. That’s not going to happen.

I believe this is a desperate move by the Aggies which will blow up. It’s just a matter of time. Thing is, it may take half a season for the cracks to appear – well after our game with them.
