I was going back and forth on ESPN3 this afternoon between the walkfest at Baum and the softball game at Bogle. And late in the softball game I realized that there is some serious construction going on behind the left field fence at Bogle and to the east of BWA. Sure enough, some quick Googling revealed two new dorm buildings are under construction with a total of 700 beds, apparently to be completed in 2019. Certainly some more dorm space was needed; with the freshmen-on-campus requirement and enrollment at 27K and growing there was little space for anything but freshmen in the existing dorms. But they sneaked that one past me. Guess I probably would have known about it if I’d ever made it to BWA this year, but…
