I doubted that I would see that

Owned, dominated from wire to wire. And sooooo easily.

Wow

On to the next one.

We did have a run where we cut it to 3…but it was sure short-lived

I thought it was 5, maybe 3 but the luck, and effort belonged to A&M today.

We actually fought hard on a split with them in regular season…

Thanks for all the replies, standing ovation!

It was 47-44

For maybe a minute.

Just stating what was official - it got down to 3.

And then it wasn’t.

You are Correct, on both accounts, Dudley!

No it was 3 and Notae jacked up a 3 from 30
To 35 feet 2 times. Umude was hitting and didn’t touch the ball. After every timeout A&M had a 5 to 7 point run.
The bad shots the hogs took spoiled the comeback bid and the sorry defense.

I keep seeing people say this was a “terrible” loss. You obviously weren’t around to see the beatdown Iowa State gave us in the 2014-2015 season. I was there to personally witness it. It was BAD. The final margin was 18 but the final score wasn’t indicative of just how thoroughly Arkansas was dominated that nite by the Cyclones. That Iowa St. team had Georges Niang. We had Bobby Portis. This current Arkansas team has no player anywhere near their talent levels. Thinking back on this season, Arkansas definitely overachieved, especially in conference. Auburn, Kentucky, and Tennessee put better talent on the court than us. Starting next season, I think the talent gap closes between us and the other 3 teams, especially if Anthony Black comes aboard.
