But I fear we are going to see another shunned Arkansan go off for a career night. Maybe Devo can hold him down a little. My main concern however, is keeping the swamp critters off the Offensive glass. They’ve got some size and we can’t give up second, third and 4th chance scoring opportunities.
Agreed. Castleton is tough around the rim. If we can hold him near his scoring average, and keep him off the offensive glass…
I played AAU ball in Little Rock with Tyree’s older brother, Raheem. That boy could really play.
Florida is No. 1 in the country in block rate. Arkansas has to be aware around the rim, too. Utilize head fakes and shot fakes but stay under control.
Raheem is my wife’s first cousin. Dude can flat out ball. Lots of D1 teams missed the boat on Raheem.
Payne is no slouch on the glass too! Florida has talent and they can hurt you inside and out. It should be a good game. I just hope the Hogs show up and take care of business.
It’s great when our players like Tate has a career night against him home state. That’s fun to see, too, don’t you think?
Too often our team has tiptoed around the rim. We need to be slamming dunks. It’s time to show some mustard.
