Hope for another of our East Texas boys

I was thrilled that Arkansas offered 2018 running back Keaontay Ingram the other day. I have special interest in Keaontay because he lives about 30 miles from me. If Keaontay ends up at Arkansas that would give the Hogs two players who led their teams to Texas state titles in 2016. Keaontay led Carthage to the Class 4A Div I title and Maleek Barkley led his team to the 6A Div I. I also can tell you this: that guy ain’t got no lead in his feet. In addition to running for nearly 2400 yards Keaontay caught 46 passes. I believe the Hogs have several other commitments in this class who led their teams to state championship games.

Here is a little reading material on Ingram and his mates winning their latest of 5 state championships.

I watched the game, Carthage plays a lot like BB at Arkansas, system wise, but with a lot better on field results. Ingram played a great game once he and Carthage got things going.
