On Bracket Matrix we’re also an 8, but the top 8, just fractionally behind Virginia which is the bottom 7 seed. We appear on all 54 brackets surveyed, with a range of 5 to 12 (one 12, several 5s).
Jerry Palm has us as a 6 seed in Tampa. He also has UALR as a 16, but not in the First Four.

LSU and Tennessee are in the first four out at Bracket Matrix. UNC is in the next four out. Somehow 11 of the 54 brackets still include the Heels at 8-6.
A win tonight would be huge in keeping us out of that infamous 10 seed. We’re going to have to win some games on the road against top talent in SEC to get down in that 6 range. Obviously, I’ll take an 8 over a 10, but 6 requires some serious work, which begins tonight. Go Hogs!
