Cronnin needs more work. He’s a bit rusty.
The bullpen will be loaded this year and there are plenty of arms.
I’m looking forward to seeing Trest tomorrow back oo the mound. I hope he is as impressive in a start as he was in that one inning Sunday.
It was an impressive game even if it was against a weak opponent. I enjoyed watching a leisurely win. The only down side were a couple of errors. (We need to work on those throws to 2b by the catcher.)
Seems like this is one of the better non-conference starts we’ve had in several years. We’ve had no bad losses.
A very weak opponent. I think I heard someone say that WIU is the fourth-worst hitting team in the NCAA. It only had one batter hitting .250 coming into tonight.
Those errors are the result of DVH figuring out if Ezell is ready to play second yet! The young man has been playing out of position at first all year. He has a great glove and range but middle infield is his natural position. He is getting over surgery on that throwing arm.
I doubt he will play him there again for a while.
