Hogs ninth-best team in the country?

That’s what these guys are saying.

Don’t know if I’d go that far. We lost to two top-5 teams due to defensive failures; offense really got it done in both games.

[/quote]Auburn, also, lost to two top fives (or there abouts) and they haven’t been blown out.

Tough game in the plains this weekend. This is a huge road game.

And they haven’t played Bama.

Interesting rankings . . . noticed that they have Houston ranked #60 . . . below Texas Tech (3-4) and Mizzou (2-4), but ahead of 3-3 Texas and, surprisingly, Oklahoma . . .

Pete Fiutak also submitted those rankings for his vote to the FWAA rankings - of which he is apparently a member.

Then, in his weekly column, he makes a couple of references to us.

I have never given much credence to College Football News. We were related (somewhat) when both of us had contracts with Scout. I’d get notes with a theme questions before and after spring and again in the summer. I sent them back a few of them. Basically, they were asking us to do their content. Often, they didn’t fit. They’d get upset if I responded that it didn’t fit what was going on at Arkansas at the time. Finally, I just quit responding. I didn’t think they were in the loop with a lot of what was going on at Arkansas. Perhaps that’s still the case.

Pete had the Hogs beating AtM and ‘Bama, then picked Ole Miss. Also picked TCU to beat us.
Just sayin’

Hopefully his trend continues… http://collegefootballnews.com/2016/ark … on-line-tv
