His desk on WKRP always had a Razorback coffee cup on it. Prayers for his family.

Someone said that was the brother of former channel 4 weatherman Tom Bonner.

I never knew that.

Don’t believe so. Bonner was a stage name. His real name was Frank Boers. Now Tom Bonner may be a stage name too, but he grew up in rural Monroe County.

And LR is mostly Pulaski county…Now Tom Bonner may be a stage name too, but he grew up in rural Monroe County.
RIP Razorback Fan!

I swear as god is my witness I thought turkeys could fly. That was a great show

Herb was always chasing after Jennifer. I wonder if he ever caught her?

Someone slipped that tidbit into the L.A. Times’ obituary:

A native of Arkansas whose birth name was Frank Boers Jr., he was raised in the city of Malvern. An Arkansas Razorbacks mug was often seen on his “WKRP” desk. His Hollywood career began in the 1970s with the film “Equinox” and on TV dramas, including “The Young Lawyers” and “Mannix.”
