'He plays so hard': Pool's effort, prep key strong play

Sam Pittman said Monday that Bumper Pool was a bit beat up last week ahead of the LSU game. His status, as of Thursday, was somewhat unknown. He wound up leading Arkansas’ defense with 13 tackles and a season-high 2 TFLs.

“He went in there and played outstanding,” Pittman added. Here is more:

He really does! 100% every play.

loved the article, as always, Scotty. Man, did Bump have a game. not just the tackle numbers, the tipped pass, but Big plays at BIG times. man, he had a game!

My dream list of players to come back would be Ridgeway (I don’t think he’d be drafted rounds 1-3???), Montaric and Bump. Catalon coming back seems like a lot to ask, i can’t imagine him slipping past round 4, but maybe they question his coverage skills and injuries???).

But man, an experienced KJ at qb and Bump back at LB would go a looooong way towards us shooting for 8 wins again next season.

I’m worried about our receiver corp next year.

We will be fine if our recruiting continues to improve and we can keep playing with an edge like this team. Far different than those two years before SP came.
