Happy for The Women of the Corn

Glad to see Dawn’s dynasty die a nasty death. Now take out Mulkey’s girls and I’ll be even happier.

Mulkeys girls won but their classless display at the end of the game was disappointing and sad.

Years ago I thought Mulkey was cute and flashy, but with some age and experience I can admit my naïveté. I know now the right adjectives were crude and trashy.

I am glad the title remains with SEC. We are the strongest conference where recruits flock to. Can’t happen unless we win titles regularly. LSU put on a shooting exhibition .

When I heard her saying GD a few times on the sideline on a nationally televised game. That was it for me lost every ounce of respect for her that I had.

I didn’t see it. What happened?

You maybe referring to Angel Reese pointing to her hand and telling Caitlin Clark that she will be wearing a championship ring soon, Caitlin has been talking trash throughout the tournament and also during the game. Angel was just getting back at her. It is just trash talking both ways. Boys and girls do that from junior high. Part of the game.

Yep. No place for that kind of disrespect. I’ll never root for her.

BTW, now I see that the reason Angel did that to Caitlin is because that is what Caitlin did to South Carolina in the previous game, Angel talked about this after the game when ESPN asked her about it.

Mulkey is trash! Low budget idiot that shouldn’t be around young people at all. She may be a good coach but the imagine she creates isn’t a positive one in my book.

I respect your right to your own opinion, but this has been a part of the game for decades at every level. I played high school ball in the 90’s and it happened every single game. Obviously even the ladies participate in it as well.

I didn’t watch any of the Women’s Final Four, and from what I read, I’m glad I didn’t.

What is the deal with this hand in the face crap???What does it mean??

Clark had 30…best player in College. Hard to beat SC and LSU back to back for any team. Iowa did well and should be proud of what they accomplished.

What an advertisement for double wides - With Mulkey as the image for decorum that has the equivalency of hiring BMFP to clean up the team’s language. Her Five and Dime glitz coupled with her constant harassing vocabulary creates an immediate dislike. She remain the same firecracker she was as a Lady Techsters.

But she is a good coach and will take the good ole boys (and girls) to the floor if she has the chance. I wish she had stayed at Baylor because she is going to out-recruit and out-scheme every program in the SEC with the resources she has available at LSU. MN’s challenges are easy now compared to the coming seasons. Reese is at LSU because of NIL money and the freedom her freedom.

It is a John Cena (WWE) gesture “you can’t see me” to be honest I just learned what it meant today.

That it’s part of the game does not excuse it. Clark did it against Louisville and SC. Still classless and unnecessary in my book on both sides. Took a great performance and great game and turned it into a race narrative. We should be talking about a great team win and a great performance of a player, but we aren’t.

You realize Clark did the same thing to her opponents correct.

Not a fan of K-Mulk, but you gotta give her her due. To win a Nattie in your second year at a school, is pretty darn impressive. I don’t root for her or her teams, but I do root for her son. As long as he is in the Cardinal’s organization.
