5 0ffensive. 11 boards and droppin 3’s. D’d up well. Cat had a game.
I love his energy and explosiveness. Not to slam these guys, but it seems clear that the three senior bigs do not have similar explosiveness. It will be interesting to see what Chaney and Henderson bring to the lineup. Also hope that Sills will be a tough on ball defender who can keep the other point guard out of the lane. Of course having Gafford back would be big.
In one of our early season games, pre PK80 I think, I said something really stupid about Hall. I think I called him a ball hog or something equally ignorant.
That kid is a baller. I love that length he has. He can rebound, shoot and defend.
Heck of a player.
We desperately need another rebounder to go with Gafford. Darius Hall can elevate this team if he could play like he did against Ole Miss. We had a size advantage against them and Anderson made them go inside and it paid off.
Don’t forget Gabe, who will play a lot of minutes at the 4 next year. Also we have to hope Jaylen Harris is a tough on ball defender, because he will be our primary PG next year.
I keep forgetting about Harris so thanks for bringing him up. Is Harris as solid as we hear? Gabe is just now starting to get more comfortable but nowhere near where he will be in a few more games. He and Hall are really making an impact the last 2 weeks. He may turn out to be a steal.
Gabe even hit a jumper and made a good drive to the basket because they were laying off of him. Hall had a great game.

Gabe is going to get tested against A&M so I am excited to see how he does. The great game by Hall takes him into the A&M game on a high. I am really excited for those 2 kids from LR. I know Gabe is Canadian but he did spend time at the school in LR.

[/quote]No intention to slight Gabe, love his intensity, just haven’t seen enough to evaluate his explosiveness. It has been disappointing for some of the older guys getting the ball underneath the basket and be unable to score or flush it. Regarding Jaylen Harris, I just remember him being pretty slight in build, so maybe I am underestimating his defensive abilities.
