A really big win. I’d love to sweep them. That’d really get some heads turning. However, if we can just get one of these next two, we’ll have come through two of the toughest teams in the SEC at 5-1 & have a great head start on the league. If we lose both, I’ll be very disappointed, but tonight’s win eliminates the one really bad outcome. Can’t get swept. That’s so important.
I’m confident in our pitching, but feel really good about our offense. WPS.
Great news from Gainesville and from Bogle Park. Softball beat Misery 3-1 in their SEC home opener. They’re 23-5 so not bad record there either.
Speaking of Gator tasting good … I was in Gainesville several years ago for the national dog show that I attend each year. I got there mid-afternoon and went to the bar for a “snack”, aka late lunch. I had the fried gator. I explained to a friend that in the SEC we cannibalize our mascots.
Really funny.
It’s nice to beat Florida and hopefully we can get another “W” tomorrow. It’s kind of weird the way the games are going against good teams they play well and against other the light just don’t come on!
